ARTIST STATEMENT
My photography focuses on stillness, mood, and small gestures of everyday life. Working primarily with natural light, off-camera flash, and selective focus, I capture intimate portraits and fleeting moments set in quiet, overlooked spaces.
Alongside digital work, I’ve recently begun experimenting with film, cyanotypes, and Polaroid emulsion lifts—using physical, tactile processes to embrace chance, texture and imperfection over digital precision.

BIO
I’ve been in love with art for as long as I can remember. Holding degrees in both fine art and psychology, I blend a deep passion for image-making with a lifelong habit of quiet observation. I don't remember a time growing up when I didn't own a camera, but everything clicked when my dad handed down his Canon AE-1 for a college photography class. A natural people-watcher, I'm drawn to portraiture, subtle details, and honest human emotion—making the National Portrait Gallery in DC my ultimate happy place.
